A Freeriding Sweep of the Amateur, Qualifying, and Derby Stakes at the Nebraska Dog and Hunt Club Field Trial in Lincoln Nebraska.

After the thrill of finishing the 2003 National Amateur Retriever Championship in McCall, Idaho with Zowie, my sweep of the Amateur, Qualifying, and Derby stakes with three different dogs at the Lincoln Field Trial, September 24-26, 2004. At that trial, my seasoned veteran, Ace, won the Amateur (and I think, would have done well in the Open, but for handler error); my young up and comer, Mootsie, won the Qualifying; and my baby, Buffy, beat her littermate, Pricey, and several other very nice young dogs to win the Derby. Of course, Ace, Mootsie and Buffy are all part of the Freeridin Clan. I also ran Duncan's Britt for her owner, Ray Duncan, and got a fourth in the Qualifying with her.

Ted’s field trial success is the result of an intense focus, intelligent pursuit, hard work, dedication to and love for his dogs, and his insane love affair with the highway. His website embodies all of these attributes except the insane love affair with the highway.

Very nice site Ted, you have some very beautiful dogs. Looking forward to seeing who you will be breeding Mootsie and Buffy to.

Congratulations on a first class site Ted. But I wouldn’t have expected any less from you…always top notch.

Continued success in your trialing endeavors. You have a super kennel of friends that I know you love and enjoy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

All the best to you and your loved ones.
